A Close-Knit, Family Environment

Fairmont’s Citron campus is home to a dynamic, caring, academically-focused preschool-kindergarten program. Since many of our parents are enrolling their children in school for the first time, we work with the entire family to make sure that this transition is a positive one. It’s our number one priority for the children in our care feel safe, secure and valued. The close-knit, family environment on our campus is certainly a highlight and we welcome the involvement of parents. In fact, parents contribute to our program in many ways by sharing their professions with students, hosting cultural celebrations and participating in our active Parent Association.

Citron’s teachers are hardworking, dedicated individuals many of whom have been with our school for much of their teaching careers. They are more than educators. Teachers take part in building self-esteem, instilling moral values, comforting children when they are feeling down and implementing fair standards of discipline. The teachers and staff are committed to establishing a solid foundation for the impressionable youngsters entrusted to our care.

We are privileged at Citron to have a culturally diverse population. We are very sensitive, and have made it our business to become educated, about many cultural differences. Students respect each other and enjoy learning about each other’s unique family traditions and cultural backgrounds.

The early childhood years are the most important in terms of learning and growth, and we take our responsibility to help nurture our students very seriously. In turn, the children at Citron enrich our lives as teachers and staff and make the Citron campus a truly magical place. I invite you to visit our campus and experience it for yourself.
