Old-Fashioned Values, Cutting-Edge Learning

Fairmont's Edgewood campus has a wonderful small community feel where we know each child and are able to offer a truly personalized approach to learning. The Fairmont Edgewood campus is a place where we encourage and support academic growth as well as character, leadership and special talents. We are very proud to offer a holistic approach to education where students benefit from enrichment classes such as computers, science lab, art, music, world language, and library skills taught by specialty subject instructors. Junior high students may choose from a range of elective courses. Each grade level enjoys study trips that address science, fine arts, performing arts, and history subjects.

We offer an accelerated academic program for students in P4 – 8th grade and are WASC accredited. Arts and athletics are also an important aspect of our program. Edgewood's thriving drama department stages plays, programs and musicals throughout the year in our campus theatre, Allison Hall. Visual arts students express themselves through drawing, painting and sculpture in our art studio. Fifth and sixth graders may participate in the Developmental Sports League (DSL). Junior high students may participate in the Tri-Way League on athletic teams which include girls and boy’s soccer and basketball, girl’s volleyball and boys flag football.

Edgewood has some of the most technologically advanced classrooms in the area. A major technological roll-out began in spring 2009 and includes wireless assessment tools, HD projection, Promethean boards and online student research centers. From old-fashioned values to cutting-edge learning, Fairmont's Edgewood campus is a school where students are empowered to realize their full potential. We invite you to experience the Fairmont Edgewood community for yourself. We know you won’t be disappointed!
