International Insurance

Fairmont International Academy does require all students to have medical insurance coverage upon enrollment.

If you do not have medical insurance you can secure such through a Global Medical Insurance policy from International Medical Group. Fairmont requires, at a minimum, that all students are covered under a policy that is equal to or greater than the Global Medical Insurance Silver Plan (Worldwide Option). This plan offers coverage with a $125/$250 deductible*. At the time of application other options will be provided should you desire more comprehensive coverage such as the Worldwide Gold Plan or Worldwide Platinum Plan. For more information and a further explanation of benefits please click on the brochure below. Please note for the safety of our students, any student arriving at Fairmont without proof of insurance will automatically be enrolled in and charged for the Global Medical Insurance Silver Plan.

* The deductible is $125 if you use a doctor or facility within the approved network.

*Please note all students applying for coverage alone (without a parent or guardian) are not eligible for the dependent rate even if they are under the age of 18. The annual premium rate to be used is the male age 19-24 rate. For example the Silver Plan Worldwide Option with a $250.00 deductible would cost $718.00 whether or not the student is male or female.

With Global Medical Insurance you have the freedom to choose any physician or healthcare facility you wish. However; choosing a provider in the PPO network can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket costs. Your deductible will be reduced by 50% and any co-insurance waived when eligible treatment is received from a network provider.
